Douglas fireplace

Traditional and timeless, the Douglas silhouette is instantly recognisable and never grows old. Defining the Douglas is the versatile profile. Arriving as a bare concrete shell, your fireplace is a blank canvas inviting your unique expression. Plaster then paint in any colour you like for a feature finish or clad in shist or river stone for a more natural finish.

Perfectly proportioned, this design suits any outdoor area while providing a relaxing focal point all-year-round.

  • Steel firebox

The Douglas features an innovative 6mm steel firebox with a double-skinned backplate. This is designed to direct ambient heat back through the opening rather than up through the flue or out through the walls of the fireplace.

    Cooking grill

Grill everything from delicious appetisers to full-blown meals on the stainless steel grill included with every fireplace. Easy to remove when not needed, this handy addition increases the functionality of your fireplace.

    Concrete structure

The fireplace comes as a single-piece concrete structure providing you with a blank canvas to finish as desired. Delivered in a bare concrete finish, you can choose to plaster and paint or clad in a range of styles and materials to suit your design tastes.

  • Douglas shell - Bare concrete finish

Firebox - 6mm black steel firebox

    Cooking grill - Stainless steel

GFRC WOOD BOXES

The Douglas fireplace has the option to have either 500mm or 800mm wide GFRC concrete wood boxes. These are lightweight and sit beside the fire to provide wood storage and often complete the look of the fireplace.
